As a Sales Assistant at Tekkie Town, your role is to provide exceptional customer service while driving sales and ensuring optimal merchandise presentation. You will support store management with daily operations, ensuring a customer-focused and service-oriented environment.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Previous experience in sales
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Planning and organizational skills for daily tasks
- Computer literate
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to handle stress and work under pressure
- High level of integrity and initiative
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
- Safeguard all assets, including stock, cash, physical assets, staff, and customers
- Implement company policies and procedures efficiently
- Ensure optimal store and department layout
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Ensure correct administrative procedures for stock rooms, markdowns, and lay-bys
- Maintain effective merchandise replenishment and housekeeping standards
