Key Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed sales targets in an inbound and outbound call centre.
- Deliver a world-class customer experience.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal and external regulations (e.g., TCF, CPA).
- Adhere to quality standards and internal sales processes.
- Maintain schedule adherence and punctuality.
Qualifications and Experience
- Matric/Grade 12 (essential).
- RE Certificate and 30 Personal Lines Short-term Insurance Credits (advantageous).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in inbound/outbound sales.
- Fluent in English and one other official language.
- Knowledge of FAIS Fit and Proper criteria (or willingness to work under supervision to achieve compliance).
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime.
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
- Familiarity with short-term insurance processes and compliance (advantageous).
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent telephonic communication and etiquette.
- Strong selling and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Customer-focused with exceptional service delivery skills.
- Deadline-driven and results-oriented.
- Emotional intelligence and self-control under pressure.
Probation and Training
This role includes a three-month probation period:
- Training Phase: A four-week program with a knowledge assessment.
- On-the-job Evaluation: Progress evaluation against sales performance metrics.
