Santam Direct is building a Sales Adviser – Pipeline for future roles in its Bellville-based team. Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets in both inbound and outbound calls.
  • Deliver world-class customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal sales standards (e.g., TCF, CPA).
  • Adhere to schedules and maintain punctuality.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Matric/Grade 12 (essential).
  • RE Certificate and 30 Personal Lines Short-term Insurance Credits (advantageous).
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in inbound/outbound sales.
  • Proficiency in English and one other official language.
  • Compliance with FAIS Fit and Proper requirements or willingness to work under supervision to meet criteria.
  • Willingness to work shifts and overtime.
  • Proven sales success and consistent target achievement.
  • Knowledge of short-term insurance processes and compliance (advantageous).

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Probation and Training

Selected candidates will undergo a three-month probationary period:

  1. Training Phase: Four weeks of structured learning with a knowledge assessment.
  2. Evaluation Phase: On-the-job performance measurement against sales targets.
