Santam Direct is building a Sales Adviser – Pipeline for future roles in its Bellville-based team. Key Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed sales targets in both inbound and outbound calls.
- Deliver world-class customer service.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal sales standards (e.g., TCF, CPA).
- Adhere to schedules and maintain punctuality.
Qualifications and Experience
- Matric/Grade 12 (essential).
- RE Certificate and 30 Personal Lines Short-term Insurance Credits (advantageous).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in inbound/outbound sales.
- Proficiency in English and one other official language.
- Compliance with FAIS Fit and Proper requirements or willingness to work under supervision to meet criteria.
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime.
- Proven sales success and consistent target achievement.
- Knowledge of short-term insurance processes and compliance (advantageous).
Skills and Competencies
- Strong telephonic communication skills.
- Exceptional sales and negotiation capabilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Customer-focused and service-oriented.
- Analytical thinking and results-driven mindset.
- Self-motivated and proactive under pressure.
Probation and Training
Selected candidates will undergo a three-month probationary period:
- Training Phase: Four weeks of structured learning with a knowledge assessment.
- Evaluation Phase: On-the-job performance measurement against sales targets.
