Job Description:
As a Sales Administrator at Tiger Brands, you will support our customer management teams by overseeing sales administration tasks. Leveraging your strong knowledge of Tiger’s processes and internal controls, you will ensure that all sales administration activities are conducted in line with company policies and standard operating procedures. Your role involves understanding customer needs and category operations to provide proactive and efficient support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Planning: Develop and manage monthly production plans based on demand forecasts provided by S&OP.
- Purchase Orders: Raise purchase orders for all finished goods, adhering to lead time policies and ensuring timely procurement of materials for “Part Toll Model” products.
- Imported Products: Ensure sufficient forward cover is requested for all imported purchase orders.
- Tracking and Measuring: Monitor daily plans to achieve a 97% pack-to-plan service level each month.
- Communication: Maintain daily/weekly communication with co-packers and suppliers.
- Stock Counts: Conduct monthly stock counts for Tiger-owned materials.
- Pricing Management: Update purchase order pricing as necessary when amendments are communicated.
- Innovation Execution: Manage stock availability for new product launches.
- Performance Input: Provide input to line manager for performance scorecard measurement.
- Customer Complaints: Assist the quality team in addressing and resolving customer complaints.
- WIP Management: Manage work-in-progress, addressing variances and resolving queries promptly.

- Sales Administration: Proficiency in sales administration processes.
- Self-Management: Ability to manage workload effectively, meet deadlines, and identify risks early.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and oral communication abilities.
- Systems and Processes: Comfortable with established processes while seeking improvements.
- Experience:
- Over 3 years of experience in administrative roles within a sales function.
- Experience in shared services is advantageous.
