Pep Vacancies – Risk Controller

Purpose of Position:

As a Risk Controller, you will play a crucial role in supporting our line functions and stores by mitigating company losses, performing audits, and facilitating the stock take process.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Auditing: Conduct audits and calculate stock takes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Health and Safety: Perform health and safety audits to maintain a secure and compliant work environment.
  • Administration: Manage administrative tasks related to risk control and auditing processes.
  • Policy Efficiencies: Implement and monitor policies to enhance operational efficiency and risk management.
  • Loss Control: Develop and execute strategies to minimize losses and improve loss control measures.
  • People Management: Oversee and support team members in adherence to risk management practices.
  • Customer Service: Ensure excellent customer service while managing risk-related functions.
  • Cost Management: Maintain a low-cost operation in line with the company’s cost-effective culture.

Requirements:

  • Education: Grade 12 required; relevant tertiary qualification (degree/diploma in business/retail) preferred.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a retail environment within a leadership or managerial role.
  • Technical Skills: Computer literate (Microsoft and/or Google GSuite is advantageous).
  • License: Valid Code 8 manual driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively and work away from home.
