SAB Vacancies – Reward Manager
SAB is seeking a Reward Manager to oversee the implementation of our Reward strategy across various countries. This role involves providing expert advice on local policies and practices to ensure they align with our global strategy. The Reward Manager plays a crucial role in supporting our meritocratic culture by building partnerships with key stakeholders and ensuring effective execution of compensation processes.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Reward Strategy Implementation
- Build strong partnerships with stakeholders in different countries to communicate and implement the company’s Reward strategy.
- Contribute to country-specific People strategies in line with global and zone Reward strategies.
- Compensation and Benefits Management
- Execute cyclical remuneration processes, such as merit increases, annual bonuses, and long-term incentives.
- Support the review of market reference salaries and benefit structures based on local benchmarks.
- Ensure local market compensation and benefit practices are understood and manage local market survey participation.
- Governance and Compliance
- Provide expert advice on policy and procedure reviews related to Reward practices, ensuring compliance with local legislation and regulations.
- Ensure mandated Reward governance processes are established in each country.
- Approve compensation offers for senior appointments.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels, influencing and building strong business relationships.
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to ensure the Reward strategy is understood and implemented effectively.
Profile Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a relevant field.
- At least 5 years of experience in rewards within a large corporate, preferably across multiple countries.
- SARA designation as a Reward Specialist is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and interpret data.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and negotiate.
- Advanced Excel skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with ease.
Reporting Structure
- The Reward Manager will report to the Rewards & Transformation Director.
