Purpose of the Role:
As a Reward Analyst, you will provide expert support in the implementation of Sasol’s Rewards and Benefits policies, processes, and practices. Your role will involve analyzing data, participating in reward surveys, coordinating job evaluations, and supporting the development of reward strategies to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement group-wide minimum standards and policies for rewards and benefits within the assigned client portfolio, addressing local needs and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement business unit/regional-specific reward plans, including recognition programs, pay structures, and benefit plan updates (e.g., retirement plans).
- Support participation in external reward and benefits surveys, analyze results, and align internal practices with market trends.
- Coordinate job evaluation services, ensuring consistency and compliance with policies and procedures.
- Monitor client portfolio metrics such as staff costs and turnover, providing insights and recommending actions to address any emerging issues.
- Ensure job evaluations are conducted professionally and results are validated through the appropriate processes.
- Implement new group policies and educate HR and line management on updated reward programs and processes.
- Execute regional reward programs, including annual increases, incentive plans, and new pay structures.
- Foster a high-performance culture by integrating reward practices with talent management processes.
Qualifications and Experience:
- University Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in rewards, compensation, or HR analysis.
- Certification in Global Remuneration Professional (GRP) is preferred or equivalent experience in reward analysis.
- Strong data analysis and interpretation skills, with proficiency in HR information systems and survey tools.
