Job Description:
As the Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily store functions across all departments, ensuring operational efficiency, and achieving sales targets. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Oversee the operations of all store departments, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
• Manage shrinkage levels to align with company targets.
• Implement policies and procedures aimed at minimizing stock loss and enhancing inventory control.
• Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to boost store sales.
• Recruit, train, and develop store employees, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure competitive deals and maintain strong business relationships.
• Allocate budgets and manage store finances to optimize profitability.
• Evaluate sales reports, analyze customer feedback, and implement changes to improve customer satisfaction.
• Plan and implement new strategies to increase store footfall and attract new customers.
• Ensure high standards of store presentation, product quality, and customer service.
• Monitor market trends and competitor strategies, adjusting business plans as needed.
• Set sales targets for the sales team and regularly review performance.
• Oversee HR functions, including staff management and disciplinary procedures.
• Lead and mentor assistant managers, developing their leadership skills and capabilities.
• Foster teamwork and collaboration among store staff and management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Management, Retail, Merchandising, Sales, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience managing supermarkets, with a proven track record of success.
• Experience in managing a butchery department is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and handle multiple responsibilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
