As the Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily store functions across all departments, ensuring operational efficiency, and achieving sales targets. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Oversee the operations of all store departments, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
- Manage shrinkage levels to align with company targets.
- Implement policies and procedures aimed at minimizing stock loss and enhancing inventory control.
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to boost store sales.
- Recruit, train, and develop store employees, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure competitive deals and maintain strong business relationships.
- Allocate budgets and manage store finances to optimize profitability.
- Evaluate sales reports, analyze customer feedback, and implement changes to improve customer satisfaction.
- Plan and implement new strategies to increase store footfall and attract new customers.
- Ensure high standards of store presentation, product quality, and customer service.
- Monitor market trends and competitor strategies, adjusting business plans as needed.
- Set sales targets for the sales team and regularly review performance.
- Oversee HR functions, including staff management and disciplinary procedures.
- Lead and mentor assistant managers, developing their leadership skills and capabilities.
- Foster teamwork and collaboration among store staff and management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Management, Retail, Merchandising, Sales, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience managing supermarkets, with a proven track record of success.
- Experience in managing a butchery department is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and handle multiple responsibilities.
