Dis-Chem Pharmacies is opening a new store at Newcastle Mall and is looking for dedicated Retail Store Assistants to join the team. This role is key in supporting the overall management of the store by handling operational and administrative duties according to company policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, SAP)
• Previous retail experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle customer inquiries, ensuring professional and efficient service.
• Address and escalate customer complaints and compliments to management.
• Manage stock queries and provide timely feedback to customers.
• Oversee transactions at the point of sale, including refunds, returns, and discrepancies.
• Ensure accurate handling of back shopping and returned goods.
• Verify deliveries and invoices for accuracy.
• Assist with logging and processing Distribution Centre claims.
• Manage high-risk stock and daily reconciliation processes.
• Handle branch cash flow requirements, including change requests and float management.
• Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure proper documentation control related to cash handling and administrative duties.

Special Conditions of Employment:
