What You’ll Do:
As a Retail Shelf Planner, your responsibilities will include:
- Creating strategic assortment plans.
- Designing data-driven floor and shelf space plans.
- Conducting analytical reviews of floor and space plans.
- Building ranging reports and category performance analyses.
- Optimizing customer and category performance through strategy, financial metrics, shopper behavior, and visual appeal.
- Supporting and advising retail customers as needed.
You’ll use our advanced category management software to execute these tasks efficiently.
Requirements:
Education & Skills:
- A degree in Consumer Science or a related field from an accredited university.
- Business-level proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
- 1–2 years of retail experience (advantageous but not required).
Knowledge & Computer Skills:
- General retail business experience.
- Understanding of category management principles (beneficial).
- Familiarity with merchandising techniques (beneficial).
- Product range knowledge.
- Proficiency in:
- Intermediate MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Google G-Suite/Docs for business.
- Willingness to learn company-specific software (training provided).
Soft Skills:
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication.
- Strong brand representation and client engagement.
- Ability to multitask and stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
- Calm, adaptable, and team-oriented mentality.
- Versatility to contribute to additional tasks when needed.
