Sanlam Vacancies – Retail Operations Manager – Western Cape

We are looking for a Retail Operations Manager to play a key role in driving operational excellence across the business, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and enhancing overall productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement new processes within the broader SI business to improve operational efficiency and enhance output.
  • Process and manage monthly retail Assets Under Management (AUM) and flow data.
  • Provide operational and data support to the Retail Distribution team.
  • Organize and manage the team’s intranet site, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accessible.
  • Foster and manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure operational alignment and seamless execution of business strategies.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, or Operations.
  • Previous experience in retail operations or a similar managerial role (preferably in the financial services or investment industry).
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in managing AUM and financial data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and intranet management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
