Fidelity Vacancies – Retail Manager
Job Description A vacancy is available for a Retail Manager at the Robertville Branch (Gauteng), reporting to the General Manager. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure that all site-specific security requirements are met and that the client’s needs are effectively and professionally addressed at all times, along with providing on-site training.
Job Specification
- Build and maintain strong relationships between Fidelity Security Services Group and the client regarding the security services provided.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop action plans to minimize stock losses.
- Perform shrinkage audits on client premises.
- Provide site-specific training to security personnel on location.
- Regularly evaluate the service levels and recommend improvements to combat stock losses and enhance service delivery.
- Assess client premises to minimize risks and strengthen security measures, creating multiple barriers against potential threats.
- Audit and verify client registers and generate exception reports.
- Ensure that all security officers on-site meet the client’s contractual requirements.
- Submit relevant monthly reports to both the client and management.
- Attend daily, weekly, and monthly meetings with the client.
- Investigate incidents related to stock losses.
- Travel nationally as required by management.
Qualifications, Experience, and Other Competencies Required:
- Matric certificate with Grade B PSIRA registration.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in security operations, specifically in a retail or shopping center environment.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to manage and discipline staff effectively.
- Proficient in computer programs, particularly MS Word and Excel.
- Strong operational planning, leadership, organizational skills, and effective interpersonal communication and client liaison skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and extend working hours when necessary.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management and its requirements.
- Valid, unendorsed driver’s license and own reliable transport.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Willingness to travel nationally.
- Clean criminal record.
