Fidelity Vacancies – Retail Contract Manager

Job Overview:

Fidelity is seeking a Retail Contract Manager for the Robertville Branch in Gauteng. Reporting to the General Manager, the primary responsibility of this position is to ensure compliance with site-specific security requirements while efficiently and professionally addressing client needs, including on-site training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster and maintain positive relationships between Fidelity Security Services Group and the client regarding the security services provided.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement action plans to mitigate stock losses.
  • Perform shrinkage audits on client premises to identify vulnerabilities.
  • Provide site-specific training to security personnel on location.
  • Evaluate service levels continuously and recommend improvements to enhance client satisfaction and reduce stock losses.
  • Regularly assess the client’s premises to minimize risky access points and establish barriers against potential criminals and syndicates.
  • Audit and verify client registers, generating exception reports as necessary.
  • Ensure all Security Officers on-site comply with the contractual requirements stipulated by the client.
  • Prepare and submit relevant monthly reports to both the client and management.
  • Attend daily, weekly, and monthly meetings with the client to discuss operational matters.
  • Investigate incidents related to stock losses and take appropriate action.
  • Travel nationally as required by management.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Matric certificate with Grade B PSIRA registration.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Security Operations within a retail or shopping center environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage and discipline staff effectively.
  • Proficient in computer applications, especially MS Word and Excel.
  • Strong operational planning, leadership, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and during extended hours as needed.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management standards.
  • A valid, unendorsed driver’s license and access to reliable transportation are essential.
  • Well-presented and professional demeanor.
  • Willingness to travel nationally.
  • No criminal record.
