Spar Vacancies – Receiving Manager – Cape Town

Introduction:
Wood Drive KWIKSPAR is seeking an experienced and dynamic Receiving Manager to join our energetic team in Sunningdale. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all stock received and ensuring proper control within the store room.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the receiving of all stock, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Manage stock control and organization within the store room.
• Ensure correct pricing of goods.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, housekeeping, and safety within the receiving area.
• Implement and monitor security protocols to minimize stock loss.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric / NQF level 4 equivalent with Mathematics.
• At least 2 years of experience in receiving, 4 years of retail experience, or 2 years in a relevant managerial role.
• High levels of personal integrity, with strong clerical and system skills.
• Computer literacy is advantageous.

Knowledge:

• Retail systems and processes.
• Cold chain management.
• Proper storage conditions for products.
• Product knowledge and handling.
• Shrinkage prevention methods.
