Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Receiving Clerk to join our team at Food Lovers Market. If you have previous experience in a retail or warehouse environment and possess strong receiving skills, this is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Unload goods, including the operation of a forklift when required.
• Inspect delivered goods for any damage or discrepancies.
• Conduct Food Safety Temperature Checks for refrigerated deliveries in compliance with FSMS standards.
• Create credit notes for incorrect stock quality or quantity.
• Verify shipment quantities and inspect goods for damages upon receiving deliveries.
• Accurately record received goods in the inventory system and ensure all documentation is updated.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to organize and stock incoming products.
• Assist in labeling, tagging, and properly storing items.
• Help with regular inventory counts and audits to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving area, ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene regulations.

Requirements:

• Matric certificate.
• Previous experience in a receiving role.
• Reside within 15 km of the job location.
• Clear criminal record.
