Responsibilities
What we’re looking for:
As the R&D Seasoning Lead, you will oversee flavor design, development, and execution for our Foods portfolio across a wide geography. You’ll collaborate with product development leadership on scoping, budgeting, and resource allocation while working closely with Global Procurement and seasoning suppliers to deliver affordable, consumer-centric solutions.
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead Salty Flavor & Seasonings strategy for Pakistan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and South Africa.
- Drive innovation through flavor strategy, trend analysis, local regulatory compliance, and data management.
- Ensure pep+ sustainability goals are integrated into seasoning roadmaps and supplier partnerships.
- Deliver productivity targets and leverage the Flavourbank tool in collaboration with the Global Seasonings Team.
- Partner with Global Procurement on Business Continuity Planning (BCP), including localized blending expansion.
Additional Responsibilities with Global R&D:
- Expand flavor expertise, leveraging insights, trends, and AI tools to enhance strategy.
- Accelerate SPBT functionality testing and work with Supply Chain to improve efficiency through analytical modeling.
- Strengthen collaboration with Product Development teams to align innovation and renovation with pep+ objectives.
Qualifications
What will qualify you for the role:
- 8+ years of R&D or Product Development experience within FMCG.
- Proven ability to scope, shape, and execute business processes.
- Strong strategic thinking with experience managing competing priorities.
- Leadership in project management, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience synthesizing complex information into actionable strategic plans.
- Previous team leadership (direct or matrix management) is advantageous.
- Skilled in executive communication and cross-functional collaboration.
