Fidelity Vacanciesch  – Query Clerk

Fidelity is looking for a Query Clerk to join the team at the Saldanha Branch, Western Cape. This role reports to the Branch Manager and is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the branch while maintaining compliance with site-specific security requirements.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 Certificate
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Bilingual with excellent writing and reporting abilities
  • Strong administrative and time management skills
  • Professional demeanor with honesty, reliability, and integrity

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete and submit daily reports for clients and management
  • Maintain up-to-date registers and ensure adherence to operational procedures
  • Investigate and report discrepancies over R50.00 to the Branch Manager
  • Report faulty equipment and manage consumables efficiently
  • Handle queries, incidents, and initial investigation reports
  • Ensure tellers have all required documentation and maintain accurate filing
  • Provide detailed feedback on queries received from the SBSA team
  • Submit accurate daily reports and statistics to the relevant recipients by 16:00
  • Adhere to a two-hour turnaround time for query resolution
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders every four weeks as per SOP
  • Dispatch necessary stationery to clients in a timely manner
  • Secure and archive documents correctly, ensuring compliance with storage protocols
  • Manage footage retrieval and distribution for client requests
  • Oversee the proper handling and dispatch of TDCs to CIT companies, ensuring traceability and weekly confirmation
  • Report all incidents daily to the Branch Manager and Regional CLO by 16:00
