Job Description
The Quality Control Superintendent is responsible for the initiation, implementation, and maintenance of all Food Safety and Quality Control processes as outlined in the company’s Food Safety and Quality Management Systems. This role focuses on ensuring compliance and high standards for frozen incoming materials throughout the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the inspection and verification of frozen incoming materials to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Implement and maintain food safety and quality control procedures in line with company systems.
- Conduct audits, monitor compliance, and identify areas for corrective actions.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on quality and food safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product safety and quality performance.
Qualifications & Skills
- Extensive experience in quality control and food safety management, preferably in frozen food operations.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards, food safety, and quality management systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to train, guide, and motivate staff effectively.
