Job Objectives:

As a Qualified Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant, your role will involve ensuring high standards of customer service and care, offering efficient stock control and administration, and accurately repacking medication. You will be responsible for maintaining efficient dispensary operations and ensuring precise compounding of medications.

Providing general health advice to customers and maintaining high standards of housekeeping and merchandise display will be key aspects of the role. You will also be required to perform ad hoc tasks as per operational requirements.

Desired Experience & Qualification:

Qualifications and Experience:

• Essential: Matric with Maths

• Minimum requirements of the Health Professions Council of South Africa for the various levels as a Pharmacist Assistant (Qualified, Post Basic, and Learner Basic)

Skills, Abilities, and Job-Related Knowledge:

• Strong product knowledge, particularly within the Health aisle and OTC products

• Knowledge of SAPC and relevant legal requirements

• Customer service orientation

• Team player with integrity

• Strong ethical working practices and compliance

• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail

• Basic calculation skills

• Proficiency in IT business operating systems

• Experience with MS Office
