Pep Vacancies – Project Manager

Job Purpose:

As a Project Manager at PEP, you will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle—from planning and execution to monitoring and completion. You will collaborate with key stakeholders, manage cross-functional project teams, and ensure that all deliverables are of high quality and within budget, while maintaining the financial viability of the projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead and manage medium to large-scale projects, ensuring timely delivery of all milestones and high-quality results.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to align on objectives, provide regular feedback, and ensure project goals are met.
  • Team Performance: Manage and support cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative environment that drives performance.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensuring that all project phases are well-recorded and transparent.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets to ensure financial targets are met and resources are efficiently utilized.

Job Requirements:

  • Education:
    • Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., IT, Commercial, Computer Science).
    • Project management training or qualifications (e.g., PMBOK, Prince2, or similar).
    • A professional project management certification (e.g., PMP) is an advantage.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
    • Proven track record of managing medium to large-scale projects.
    • Experience leading cross-functional teams.
    • Retail industry experience is an advantage.

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Trello).
  • Experience with budgeting, financial management, and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with communication and collaboration tools (e.g., Google Suite).
  • Understanding of marketing teams, advanced analytics, and IT infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of POPIA compliance.

Soft Skills:
