Job Purpose:
As a Project Manager at PEP, you will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle—from planning and execution to monitoring and completion. You will collaborate with key stakeholders, manage cross-functional project teams, and ensure that all deliverables are of high quality and within budget, while maintaining the financial viability of the projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and manage medium to large-scale projects, ensuring timely delivery of all milestones and high-quality results.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to align on objectives, provide regular feedback, and ensure project goals are met.
- Team Performance: Manage and support cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative environment that drives performance.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensuring that all project phases are well-recorded and transparent.
- Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets to ensure financial targets are met and resources are efficiently utilized.
Job Requirements:
- Education:
- Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., IT, Commercial, Computer Science).
- Project management training or qualifications (e.g., PMBOK, Prince2, or similar).
- A professional project management certification (e.g., PMP) is an advantage.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
- Proven track record of managing medium to large-scale projects.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Retail industry experience is an advantage.
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Trello).
- Experience with budgeting, financial management, and data analysis.
- Familiarity with communication and collaboration tools (e.g., Google Suite).
- Understanding of marketing teams, advanced analytics, and IT infrastructure.
- Knowledge of POPIA compliance.
Soft Skills:
