We are seeking a highly skilled Project Construction Manager to lead a high-value, large-scale execution project in the Zwartklip area, near Northam. With a project value of R1.5 billion, this is a groundbreaking opportunity for a proven leader to ensure the successful delivery of a major smelter project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the construction execution of a high-profile smelter project.
- Ensure project completion within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Lead and manage multidisciplinary construction teams.
- Apply EPCM best practices to optimize project performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain strong communication with stakeholders, including Anglo American Platinum.
Key Requirements:
- B.Eng/B.Sc/BTech in Engineering.
- Construction project management certification.
- Minimum 20 years of experience in large-scale, complex EPCM projects.
- Previous smelter project experience is highly advantageous.
- Proven track record managing projects with major firms (Anglo Platinum, DRA, Worley Parsons, TWP, Hatch, etc.).
- Experience working with Anglo American / Anglo American Platinum projects preferred.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Physically fit and capable of on-site work.
