Role Purpose
Develop and implement strategic public relations and client engagement initiatives to enhance Metropolitan’s visibility and strengthen relationships with clients and stakeholders. Drive marketing efforts that support sales, service excellence, and client retention.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in PR, communications, or client engagement.
- Proven success in media relations and client communications.
Duties & Responsibilities
Public Relations Strategy Development & Execution
- Design and implement PR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Identify key media outlets, spokespeople, and influencers.
- Develop thought leadership content and profile executive leadership.
- Create marketing content for media, websites, blogs, and social platforms.
- Ensure brand consistency across all communication and activations.
Media Relations
- Build relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers.
- Draft press releases, media kits, and PR materials.
- Coordinate media events, interviews, and press conferences.
Client Engagement
- Develop strategies to enhance client value and support business growth.
- Create engagement initiatives, including newsletters, webinars, and surveys.
- Serve as the primary liaison for client communications.
- Coordinate company-wide engagement activities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Content Creation & Event Planning
- Produce high-quality content for digital and traditional channels.
- Collaborate with internal teams on storytelling for products/services.
- Plan and execute brand events, launches, and promotions.
Reputation Tracking
- Manage crisis communication processes and media inquiries.
- Draft and approve public responses in alignment with PR protocols.
Analysis and Reporting
- Monitor media coverage and evaluate PR campaign performance.
- Report on client engagement metrics and marketing effectiveness.
- Track industry trends and competitor activities.
Team & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Align PR efforts with broader business objectives across teams.
- Manage external PR agencies or consultants.
- Train leaders and employees on communication best practices.
Budget Management
- Allocate resources efficiently to maximize ROI.
- Track expenses, negotiate vendor contracts, and optimize costs.
