Job Objectives

  • Deliver consistently high standards of pharmaceutical care through accurate, safe dispensing, including generic substitution, and professional patient advice in line with Clicks’ ways of working, Good Pharmacy Practice, and SAPC regulations.

  • Lead and control all dispensary operations, ensuring effective stock management, shrinkage control, housekeeping, and administration in accordance with company standards and legal requirements.

  • Ensure the ongoing operational and financial viability of the dispensary by managing expenses, achieving core dispensary and clinic targets, and taking proactive corrective action where required.

  • Build, lead, and develop a competent and motivated pharmacy team, including learners and interns, through effective recruitment, leadership, coaching, and continuous development.

  • Plan and manage staff scheduling in line with labour policies and workforce models, ensuring accurate time and attendance records and submission of employee documentation to HR.

  • Drive customer service initiatives within the dispensary to deliver an exceptional customer experience, strengthen customer loyalty, and achieve club card participation targets.

  • Foster strong integration and collaboration between the pharmacy, clinic, and healthcare aisles to deliver a comprehensive healthcare offering to customers.

  • Live and promote the Group’s values, supporting the vision of being the customer’s first-choice health and beauty retailer.

  • Drive alignment, consistency, and collaboration across store operations, pharmacy, and clinic teams.

  • Cultivate a high-performance culture that delivers employee engagement, customer satisfaction, and sustainable shareholder value.
