Job Objectives:
The Pharmacy Manager at Clicks Equestria will be responsible for providing high standards of pharmaceutical care, ensuring accurate and safe dispensing, including generic substitution, and offering expert advice in alignment with Clicks’ procedures, good pharmacy practices, and the legal scope of practice as regulated by the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
The role also involves managing all operational aspects of the dispensary, including stock management, shrinkage control, housekeeping, and administration, while adhering to company standards and SAPC regulations. Financial management is key, with a focus on meeting core dispensary and clinic targets, managing expenses, and taking proactive steps to ensure profitability and operational success.
As a leader, the Pharmacy Manager will be responsible for fostering a motivated team, providing effective selection, leadership, training, and development of employees, including learners and interns. This will build capacity and capability to meet both current and future business needs.
Staff scheduling in accordance with labor policies and ensuring accurate time and attendance records is another key responsibility. The Pharmacy Manager will oversee customer service initiatives, ensuring a great customer experience, driving customer loyalty, and achieving club card participation targets.
The role also includes ensuring seamless integration with the clinic and healthcare aisle, providing a full range of healthcare services to customers. The Pharmacy Manager will support the Group’s vision of being the first choice health and beauty retailer by living and promoting company values and fostering cohesion between the store operation, pharmacy, and clinic teams.

Essential: Minimum 2 years’ experience post-community service year
