Job Objectives:
The Pharmacy Manager at Clicks Equestria will be responsible for ensuring high standards of pharmaceutical care, including accurate and safe dispensing, generic substitution, and providing advice in accordance with Clicks’ standards and the legal requirements set out by the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
The Pharmacy Manager will also efficiently manage all operational activities within the dispensary, including stock management, minimizing shrinkage, maintaining general housekeeping, and adhering to company and SAPC regulations. Ensuring the operational viability of the dispensary will be a key focus, which involves sound financial management and meeting core dispensary and clinic targets while managing expenses effectively.
A crucial part of the role will be to foster a motivated and competent pharmacy team, including learners and interns, through effective selection, leadership, and ongoing development. The Pharmacy Manager will also manage staffing in line with the labour policy and ensure accurate time and attendance records are maintained.
To ensure excellent customer service, the Pharmacy Manager will drive initiatives in the dispensary to provide an exceptional customer experience, foster customer loyalty, and meet club card participation targets. The role requires integration with the clinic and healthcare aisle to ensure a comprehensive offering to customers.
The Pharmacy Manager will also play a significant role in fostering cohesion between the pharmacy, clinic, and store operations teams, contributing to a high-performance business culture that drives employee satisfaction, customer loyalty, and shareholder value.
Knowledge:

Desired Experience & Qualification
Experience:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience post-community service year
-
Minimum of 1 year People Management experience

Registration as a Responsible Pharmacist with SAPC
Desirable:
