Job Objectives:

Provide high standards of pharmaceutical care, ensuring accurate and safe dispensing, including generic substitution, while offering advice in accordance with Clicks’ operational standards, good pharmacy practice, and the legal scope outlined by the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).

Efficiently manage all operational activities in the dispensary, including responsible stock management, shrinkage control, housekeeping, and administrative tasks, in alignment with company standards, SAPC regulations, and merchandising guidelines.

Ensure the operational effectiveness of the dispensary by focusing on achieving core dispensary and clinic targets.

Oversee the training and development of Pharmacist Assistants and Pharmacist Interns in line with SAPC requirements to maintain a competent and motivated team.

Implement customer service initiatives in the dispensary that foster excellent customer experiences, drive customer loyalty, and help achieve club card participation targets.

Build and maintain positive working relationships with relevant stakeholders such as centre managers, suppliers, and distribution centres to maximize business opportunities and achieve objectives.

Foster integration and collaboration with the clinic and healthcare aisle to provide customers with a complete offering for their healthcare needs.
