Job Objectives:
As a Pharmacist at Clicks Richmond Corner, you will be responsible for delivering high standards of pharmaceutical care, ensuring accurate and safe dispensing, including generic substitution, and offering expert advice in accordance with Clicks’ guidelines, good pharmacy practice, and the legal scope of practice set by the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
Your role will involve efficiently managing all dispensary operations, including stock management, shrinkage control, general housekeeping, and administrative tasks, all in line with SAPC regulations, merchandising guidelines, and company standards. You will also focus on achieving core dispensary and clinic targets to ensure the dispensary’s operational success.
The position also entails overseeing the training and development of Pharmacist Assistants and Pharmacist Interns, ensuring they are competent and motivated, and meeting SAPC requirements. You will take the lead in executing customer service initiatives that enhance the customer experience, promote loyalty, and meet club card participation targets.
In addition, you will build and maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders, including center managers, suppliers, and distribution centers, to meet business objectives and leverage available opportunities. The integration with the clinic and healthcare aisle is essential to provide a comprehensive offering of healthcare services to customers.
You will contribute to the overall vision of the Group to be the customer’s first choice health and beauty retailer by consistently living and driving the company values.
