Job Objectives:
The Pharmacist will be responsible for providing high standards of pharmaceutical care, ensuring accurate and safe dispensing, including generic substitution, while adhering to Clicks’ way of working, good pharmacy practice, and the legal scope of practice outlined by the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
Key responsibilities include:

Efficiently executing all operational activities within the dispensary, including stock management, shrinkage prevention, general housekeeping, and administration, in compliance with SAPC regulations and company standards.

Ensuring the operational viability of the dispensary by focusing on core dispensary and clinic targets.

Overseeing the training and development of Pharmacist Assistants and Pharmacist Interns in line with SAPC requirements, ensuring competent and motivated employees.

Implementing customer service initiatives within the dispensary to drive customer loyalty, enhance the customer experience, and achieve club card participation targets.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with relevant stakeholders, such as center managers, suppliers, and DCs, to ensure business objectives are met and opportunities are maximized.

Ensuring integration and collaboration with the clinic and healthcare aisle to provide a comprehensive healthcare offering to customers.

Supporting Clicks Group’s vision to be the customer’s first choice health and beauty retailer by embodying and promoting the company’s values.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements:

Essential: Registered Pharmacist with SAPC

Desirable: Retail pharmacy experience

Desirable: Unisolve experience
