Job Purpose:
To ensure the efficient operation of the dispensary and deliver service excellence by maintaining high standards of pharmaceutical care. The goal is to meet sales and compliance targets, which will lead to a competitive advantage for the brand.
Job Objectives:

Provide high standards of pharmaceutical care through accurate and safe dispensing, including generic substitution, and offering advice in accordance with Clicks’ procedures, good pharmacy practice, and the legal scope of practice as outlined by the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).

Efficiently manage all operational activities within the dispensary, including stock management, shrinkage control, housekeeping, and administration in compliance with merchandising, SAPC regulations, and company standards.

Ensure the operational viability of the dispensary by focusing on core dispensary and clinic targets.

Oversee the training and development of Pharmacist Assistants and Pharmacist Interns to ensure competence and motivation, in line with SAPC requirements when applicable.

Implement customer service initiatives in the dispensary to enhance customer experience, drive customer loyalty, and achieve club card participation targets.

Foster strong working relationships with relevant stakeholders, such as centre managers, suppliers, and distribution centers, to ensure business objectives are achieved and opportunities are maximized.

Integrate and collaborate with the clinic and healthcare aisle to provide a comprehensive healthcare offering to customers.

Support the Group’s vision to be the customer’s first choice health and beauty retailer by promoting and upholding company values.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Education and Experience Requirements:

Essential: Registered Pharmacist with SAPC

Desirable: Retail Pharmacy experience
