Clicks Group Careers – Pharmacist – Clicks Loch Logan

The Pharmacist at Clicks Loch Logan will be responsible for providing high standards of pharmaceutical care, ensuring accurate and safe dispensing, including generic substitution, and offering professional advice in accordance with Clicks’ operational standards, good pharmacy practices, and the legal scope of practice defined by the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).

Key responsibilities include efficiently managing all operational activities within the dispensary, including stock management, shrinkage control, general housekeeping, and administrative tasks. The pharmacist will adhere to SAPC regulations and company standards while ensuring the dispensary operates effectively and meets core dispensary and clinic targets.

In this role, the pharmacist will be tasked with overseeing the training and development of Pharmacist Assistants and Pharmacist Interns, ensuring they meet SAPC requirements. Additionally, the pharmacist will lead customer service initiatives within the dispensary, fostering a great customer experience, promoting customer loyalty, and achieving club card participation targets.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with relevant stakeholders (such as centre managers, suppliers, and distribution centers) is essential to maximize business opportunities and meet objectives. The pharmacist will also collaborate with the clinic and healthcare aisles to provide a comprehensive healthcare offering to customers.

The pharmacist will contribute to the Group’s vision of being the customer’s first choice for health and beauty retail by living and promoting the company’s values.

Desired Experience & Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Essential: Registered Pharmacist with SAPC

  • Desirable: Retail Pharmacy experience

  • Desirable: Unisolve experience
