Job Objectives:
As a Pharmacist at Clicks Bluff Lighthouse, you will be responsible for ensuring high standards of pharmaceutical care, accurate and safe dispensing, including generic substitution, and providing expert advice in accordance with Clicks’ guidelines, good pharmacy practice, and the legal scope of practice as outlined by the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
The role involves efficiently managing all operational activities of the dispensary, including safe stock management, shrinkage control, housekeeping, and administrative duties, while adhering to SAPC regulations and company standards. You will also ensure the dispensary’s operational viability by focusing on core dispensary and clinic targets.
In addition, you will be responsible for the training and development of Pharmacist Assistants and Pharmacist Interns to ensure they meet SAPC requirements and maintain a competent, motivated team.
Executing customer service initiatives is key to this role, ensuring a positive customer experience, enhancing customer loyalty, and achieving club card participation targets. You will also work on building and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders such as centre managers, suppliers, and distribution centers to achieve business goals and maximize opportunities.
Furthermore, this role will require close integration with the clinic and healthcare aisle to ensure a full range of healthcare services is offered to customers. You will be expected to support Clicks’ vision to be the customer’s first choice health and beauty retailer by consistently embodying the company values.
