Clicks Group Careers – Pharmacist Assistant QPB – Clicks V & A Waterfront

Job Objectives:

Responsibilities:

  • Interact with customers in a professional manner while maintaining strict confidentiality in line with SOP and agreed timelines.

  • Administer scripts and handle any other related claiming or capturing procedures.

  • Ensure accurate and complete management of all profiles worked on.

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals when necessary.

  • Address and resolve queries promptly through effective problem-solving.

Duties:

  • Communicate with customers via telephone or other means regarding medication and healthcare services.

  • Accurately capture scripts received at the Central Pharmacy centre.

  • Handle queries related to prescriptions.

  • Manage patient profiles.

  • Assist with chronic authorizations.

  • Liaise with all other departments.

  • Perform ad hoc tasks as required by operational needs.

Knowledge:

  • In-depth product knowledge (including OTC).

  • Familiarity with SAPC regulations and relevant legal knowledge.

  • Strong understanding of the chronic authorization process and procedures.

  • Strong customer service orientation.

  • Commitment to ethical working practices and compliance.

Skills:

  • Computer literacy (MS Office).

  • Strong customer service orientation.

  • Team player with integrity.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Bilingual (with English as one of the languages).

  • Ability to work effectively with patients and assist across various departmental duties.

  • Minimum of 1 year in the role of Pharmacist Assistant Post Basic.
