Job Objectives:
The Pharmacist Assistant QPB is responsible for interacting with customers in a professional manner, ensuring strict confidentiality within standard operating procedures (SOP) and agreed timelines. This includes the administration of scripts and other claiming/capturing related procedures, accurately handling all customer profiles, and resolving queries. The role also requires collaborating with healthcare professionals as needed and problem-solving to address customer concerns.
Responsibilities and Duties:

Interact with customers via telephone or other communication methods regarding medication and healthcare services.

Accurately capture scripts received at the Central Pharmacy Centre.

Handle queries related to prescriptions and manage patient profiles.

Assist with chronic authorizations and liaise with various departments.

Perform ad hoc duties as per operational requirements.
Knowledge:

Product knowledge, including OTC products.

Sound knowledge of SAPC regulations and relevant legal requirements.

Understanding of the chronic authorization process and procedures.

A strong customer service orientation.

Experience:

A minimum of 1 year of experience in the role of Pharmacist Assistant Post Basic.
