The role of a People Business Partner is to provide comprehensive HR support, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering a high-performance culture. This position involves managing all aspects of the HR value chain, supporting line managers, and driving people-related strategies to enhance employee engagement and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Relevant degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a Retail or FMCG environment
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between stores

- Ability to build and maintain relationships across all organizational levels
- Skilled in negotiation, facilitation, and problem-solving

- Oversee the full hiring process, ensuring alignment with company policies
Performance & Talent Management
- Promote performance management processes and ensure employee engagement
- Support talent development and succession planning initiatives
Learning & Development
- Implement training and development programs tailored to business needs
- Provide input into identifying skill gaps and development opportunities
Compensation & Benefits
- Advise managers on reward policies and employee value propositions
- Communicate changes in benefits, employment conditions, and compensation structures
Diversity, Inclusion & Employee Relations
- Implement diversity and inclusion initiatives to foster an inclusive workplace
- Provide guidance on employee relations, ensuring compliance with policies and labor laws
- Engage with trade unions and employees regarding employment relations strategies
Change Management & HR Effectiveness
- Support business change initiatives by designing stakeholder engagement strategies
- Ensure data accuracy in HR systems and track critical HR metrics
Business Partnering
- Act as a trusted advisor to leaders and managers, driving a high-performance culture
- Provide HR expertise and solutions that align with store operations and business goals
