Job Summary
As a Payroll Administrator at C3 Resource Investments, you will be instrumental in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with South African labor laws. Your role will encompass payroll management, benefits administration, payroll audits, and collaboration with HR and finance teams.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Administration
- Process weekly and monthly payroll for all employees.
- Ensure compliance with South African payroll regulations (SARS, UIF, SDL, COIDA, etc.).
- Administer employee benefits (MIFBA, Allan Gray, Sick Fund, Momentum Group Life).
- Maintain accurate and secure payroll records.
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Support financial audits and reporting.
Accounts Payable Support
- Process HR-related payments (subcontractors, training, claims, allowances).
- Manage and update the Payments List for timely transactions.
Qualifications & Requirements
Qualifications
- National Senior Certificate (required).
- Payroll or HR qualification (advantageous).
- In-depth knowledge of South African payroll legislation.
Experience
- 3+ years as a Payroll Administrator in South Africa.
- Experience with statutory submissions and payroll reporting.
Software Skills
- Proficiency in payroll systems (e.g., Sage Pastel, VIP, SAP, SimplePay).
- Strong Excel and MS Office skills.
