SAB Vacancies – Packaging and Dispense Execution Specialist

SAB is seeking a skilled Packaging and Dispense Execution Specialist to drive consumer innovation and implement packaging processes and technologies across the zone. This role requires a mix of technical expertise, project management skills, and stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and implementation of packaging consumer innovation projects (CIF) following the global Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation (CQV) process.
  • Provide technical expertise on packaging materials, processes, and equipment, including metals, glass, and other packaging categories.
  • Conduct transport and stacking trials to ensure packaging effectiveness and durability.
  • Identify and implement value engineering (VE) projects to deliver cost savings and packaging reductions.
  • Collaborate with regional interfaces to manage and execute projects effectively.
  • Develop and update material and process standards, quality plans, production scheduling, trial protocols, new artwork, EQMS, and SAP/Acadia data.
  • Engage with various stakeholders, including Marketing, Legal, GiTec, Global & Zone, to ensure successful project execution.
  • Perform risk assessments and create project timelines aligned with CQV protocols.
  • Work with Procurement and Suppliers/OEMs to develop project budgets and source materials and equipment.
  • Support cross-functional teams and work closely with Zone and Global partners to achieve project goals.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Sciences, or Quality.
  • A proven track record of delivering complex projects in the FMCG/Packaging environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, from shop floor to executive level.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and control skills.
  • A passion for promoting organizational learning and knowledge sharing.
  • Efficient networker with experience working across departments, zones, and global teams.
  • 5+ years of experience in brewery operations management within a large or complex manufacturing facility.
  • 5+ years of experience in FMCG packaging, with expertise as a substrate specialist or innovation specialist.
  • Project Management qualification and experience would be a plus.
  • Experience as a checked-out Engineering, Packaging, or Quality Trainee with strong supply process knowledge would be beneficial.
