Job Overview
The Operator – Polokwane Baker is responsible for operating bagging and slicing machines, ensuring quality control, and reporting any deviations to supervisors or managers. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety regulations, and the ability to maintain equipment functionality.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate bagging and slicing machines efficiently.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and maintain a clean work environment.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures.
- Verify that blades are correctly fitted by the maintenance team.
- Load plastic onto the bagging machine.
- Identify and report machine issues, stopping the process when necessary and notifying maintenance for assistance.
- Monitor and check the Quick Lock machine to ensure proper functioning.
Qualifications & Skills
- Matric certificate.
- Experience working with bagging and slicing machines is preferred.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to read and write.
- Basic computer skills.
