Purpose of the Job
Operate mining-related machinery and equipment efficiently within design parameters to minimize waste and optimize operational costs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain safety standards in the working environment.
  • Perform tasks according to planned schedules and assignments.
  • Participate in daily meetings to review work tasks and provide progress feedback.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, ensuring a secure and compliant workplace.
  • Maintain cleanliness and follow waste disposal procedures.
  • Identify equipment faults using appropriate methods to maximize equipment availability.
  • Attend training sessions to enhance skills and competencies.
  • Incorporate identified training needs into the Personal Development Plan (PDP) with approval from the group leader.
  • Support business goals by meeting deadlines and delivering quality results.
  • Conduct equipment inspections and repairs to ensure reliability.
  • Provide accurate feedback to stakeholders on work progress.
  • Perform My IMS inspections to improve plant sustainability.
  • Document and report history feedback to aid in equipment renewals and critical spare replacements.
  • Participate in toolbox talks, PDAs, and RCAs to enhance plant safety and stability.
  • Identify and propose continuous improvement opportunities in the work area.

Educational Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.

Experience

  • Entry-level position (0+ years of relevant experience).
