Job Description

Fidelity Vacanciesch  – Operations Manager

Fidelity is seeking an Operations Manager for the Mafikeng branch to oversee and manage Cash in Transit (CIT) operations, ensuring efficiency, security, and compliance with company and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements

  • Clear criminal record
  • PSIRA accreditation (minimum Grade C)
  • Valid Cash in Transit (CIT) certificate
  • Firearm competency (minimum handgun qualification for business purposes)
  • Computer literacy is essential
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Cash in Transit industry or a similar role (experience within FSG is an advantage)
  • CIT management or supervisory experience is beneficial
  • Knowledge of HR/IR procedures
  • Understanding of ISO 9001:2015 quality management requirements
  • Familiarity with Transtrack systems
  • Strong planning, leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver’s license and own transport
  • Ability to work under pressure and outside regular hours
  • Clear disciplinary record

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all operational aspects of the branch, ensuring client services meet contractual agreements
  • Maintain strong relationships between the branch and clients to ensure service excellence
  • Oversee staff and client retention strategies
  • Implement and monitor risk management procedures
  • Ensure all administrative tasks related to operational requirements are completed accurately and on time
  • Take full responsibility for vehicles, including reporting mechanical faults, refueling, operating security systems, and maintaining cleanliness
  • Prevent and report accidents, security incidents, and suspicious activities
  • Ensure compliance with CIT schedule security and manage vehicle movement
  • Communicate with management and staff on operational needs and performance
  • Handle HR/IR-related issues and ensure compliance with labor policies
  • Oversee Transtrack duties and ensure seamless operations
