Fidelity Vacancies – Operations Manager

Fidelity is looking for an Operations Manager at the Hermanstad Branch to oversee and manage Cash in Transit (CIT) operations efficiently. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills, industry experience, and the ability to manage staff and operational requirements effectively.

Minimum Requirements

  • Clear criminal record
  • PSIRA accredited with a minimum Grade C qualification
  • Cash in Transit (CIT) certificate
  • Firearm competency with a minimum handgun qualification (for business purposes)
  • Proficiency in computer applications (compulsory)
  • At least five years of experience in the CIT industry or a similar role (experience with FSG is advantageous)
  • CIT management or supervisory experience is advantageous
  • Knowledge of HR and IR practices
  • Understanding of ISO9001:2015 quality management requirements
  • Familiarity with Transtrack system
  • Strong planning, leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver’s license and own transport
  • Ability to work under pressure and irregular hours
  • Clear disciplinary record

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all operational aspects for the branch’s client base through daily communication, instructions, and follow-ups with employees
  • Ensure all client services are delivered according to contractual agreements
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients regarding services rendered
  • Manage staff performance, retention, and development
  • Oversee risk management and compliance with security protocols
  • Handle all administrative duties related to daily operational requirements
  • Take full responsibility for CIT vehicles, including reporting mechanical faults, refueling, maintaining security systems, and ensuring cleanliness
  • Implement accident prevention measures and report incidents as needed
  • Identify and respond proactively to suspicious activities
  • Maintain effective communication with management and staff
  • Handle HR and IR-related matters within personnel management
  • Manage all Transtrack-related duties
  • Ensure the security and management of CIT schedules during transit
