Fidelity Vacancies – Operations Manager – Mafikeng,
This position is vacant at our Mafikeng branch. The primary purpose of the role is to ensure the efficient management of Cash in Transit (CIT) operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Clear Criminal Record
- PSIRA accredited with a minimum Grade C qualification
- Cash In Transit (CIT) certificate
- Firearm competency with a minimum handgun qualification for business purposes
- Computer literate (compulsory)
- At least 5 years of experience in the Cash in Transit industry or a similar role (Advantageous at FSG)
- CIT management/supervisory experience is advantageous
- Knowledge of HR/IR
- Knowledge of ISO9001:2015 quality management and its requirements
- Knowledge of Transtrack
- Strong planning, leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver’s license and own transport
- Ability to work under pressure
- Willingness to work irregular hours
- Clear disciplinary record
Key Performance Areas (not totally inclusive):
- Responsible for all operational issues related to the entire client base at the branch through daily communication and instructions to staff
- Ensure all clients are serviced according to contractual requirements
- Maintain positive relations between the branch and clients regarding services rendered
- Manage staff and client retention
- Risk management and mitigation
- Ensure completion of all administrative responsibilities related to daily operational requirements
- Take full responsibility for the CIT vehicle, including reporting mechanical faults, refueling, operating security systems, and ensuring cleanliness
- Prevent accidents and report incidents
- Take proactive measures against suspicious activities
- Liaise with management and staff
- Manage HR/IR-related personnel issues
- Oversee Transtrack duties
- Ensure security and manage the movement of CIT schedules during transit
