Fidelity is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee a client cluster and ensure the delivery of high-quality security services. Reporting to the Area Manager, the Operations Manager will be responsible for client liaison, HR/IR matters, fleet management, expenses control, investigations, and the deployment of Security Officers. The ideal candidate will ensure that all site security requirements are met, and the client’s needs are professionally and efficiently addressed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relations: Maintain strong relationships between Fidelity Security Services Group and the client, ensuring that security services meet contractual expectations.
- Operational Management: Manage allocated areas and ensure all contractual requirements are fulfilled by the security teams.
- Staff Management: Supervise and manage security staff, ensuring performance and compliance with client requirements.
- Service Improvement: Continuously evaluate service levels and recommend improvements to the client to enhance security operations.
- HR and Administration: Address HR-related queries promptly, formulate disciplinary actions, and ensure timely submission of employment forms. Handle all necessary administration related to operations.
- Reporting: Submit weekly and monthly incident and operational reports to management. Investigate and report on security incidents as required.
- Liaison: Daily communication with management and regional teams to address operational and HR matters.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management standards and the Firearm Act.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Matric/Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.
- Certifications: PSIRA Grade A registration.
- Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in the security industry.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an Operational Security Management role.
- Licenses: Valid Driver’s License with reliable transport.
- Skills:
- Strong planning, administration, and client liaison abilities.
- Leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Other:
- Knowledge of the Firearm Act and firearm competency.
- No criminal record or pending cases.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management.
