Fidelity Vacancies – Operational ISA Analyst

Fidelity is seeking an Operational ISA Analyst to work closely with the ISA team and support systems, ensuring accurate data presentation to financial institutions. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with large datasets.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • Grade 12 (Post-Matric qualification preferred)
  • Knowledge of banking industry processes (Banking certification is an advantage)
  • Minimum of two years’ experience as an analyst on projects
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact professionally with colleagues and clients at all levels
  • Interest in new technologies and problem-solving
  • Ability to manage project delivery under tight constraints while maintaining high quality
  • Strong presentation, documentation, and report-writing skills
  • Professional and well-presented demeanor
  • Ability to work under pressure and extended hours when required
  • Willingness to travel as needed

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and collect data from multiple sources, including databases and external datasets
  • Clean and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Perform data analysis using statistical tools to extract meaningful insights
  • Create visual representations of data, such as charts and graphs, for clear communication
  • Generate reports and present findings to stakeholders and clients
  • Interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement
  • Develop statistical or predictive models to support data-driven decision-making
  • Ensure data accuracy and reliability through quality checks and validation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address business needs using data-driven solutions
  • Utilize data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, and visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
  • Stay updated on industry trends and new data analysis techniques
  • Communicate complex data insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders
  • Identify and resolve data-related challenges and issues
