Job Description
Job Objectives:
-
To establish and grow a loyal client base by effectively promoting the Clinic’s services to Clicks’ customers and providing high standards of patient care and customer service.

To deliver a range of clinic services, including lifestyle management screening tests, well-baby clinics, health immunisations, baby health monitoring, reproductive health services, adult immunisations, primary health care (minor ailments and wound care), and a phlebotomy service.

To counsel and advise patients on health information, weight management, and refer patients to Pharmacists and other health professionals when appropriate.

To ensure that patient information is held securely, confidentially, and is accurately maintained on an electronic system, ensuring payment is received for all services rendered.

To manage the clinic’s operations through efficient administration, including booking locums and ensuring accurate, timely reporting on financial and stock management.

To ensure efficient stock management, prevent stock loss and shrinkage, and monitor the cold chain, taking necessary safety precautions, particularly in managing medical supplies.

To establish and build professional networks with health professionals to enhance the clinic’s commercial viability and service offerings.

To plan, coordinate, and implement Health Days and other ad hoc projects to enhance Clicks’ offerings to its customers.

To manage adverse events and emergencies in a professional and effective manner.

Minimum Requirements:
Experience:
-
Essential: A minimum of 3 years practical experience in a broad range of nursing disciplines, preferably in Community Health, Primary Health, and Midwifery.

Desirable: Unisolv and Allegra experience.
Education:
-
Essential: 3-year Diploma in Nursing or a 4-year degree, registered with SANC with the following qualifications:
-
Nursing Practitioner (General, Psychiatric, and Community) Midwifery, or
-
Nursing Practitioner (General, Psychiatric, and Community) Accoucheur, or
-
General Nurse with additional qualifications in Midwifery or Accoucheur; and Clinical Nursing Science, Health Assessment, Treatment, and Care, or Community Nursing Science.
