Fidelity Vacancies – New Business Development Consultant

The main objective of the New Business Development Consultant is to generate new business opportunities through networking, building strong client relationships, and maintaining and expanding an existing client base. This role involves offering complete, integrated risk mitigation solutions to both new and existing clients, covering the full spectrum of both the commercial offering and the broader company services.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for client growth by proactively increasing turnover through existing clients and new business opportunities
  • Meet revenue targets by achieving set sales goals, which may be adjusted based on business needs
  • Secure profitable new business through strategic sales efforts
  • Attend to potential clients across various sectors and regions
  • Address and resolve client queries promptly and effectively
  • Conduct on-site surveys for security requirements
  • Design, cost, and present comprehensive security solutions to clients
  • Prepare and submit timely quotations and proposals to clients
  • Build and maintain professional, long-term relationships with clients
  • Plan, budget, and coordinate to meet client needs and expectations
  • Assist with marketing-related efforts and initiatives
  • Compile and submit weekly and monthly management reports
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities
  • Ensure all contracts and quotations are completed accurately, with necessary drawings and technical addenda
  • Ensure all paperwork is submitted on time to secure non-standard stock items and equipment
  • Identify new sales opportunities, including cold calling and business development activities

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • Post-matric qualification or equivalent
  • Experience in senior solution sales, preferably within the security industry
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to work under pressure and extend hours when needed
  • Willingness to travel
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  • PSIRA Grade C (company requirement)
