DisChem Vacancies – Nail Technician-PTA Region

Dis-Chem Pharmacies is looking for an experienced Nail Technician to provide professional nail services across various salons in the PTA Region. This role involves building a loyal customer base while promoting and delivering high-quality nail treatments.

Minimum Requirements:

Essential:

• Grade 12 / Matric or Senior Certificate
• Nail Technician Certificate (gel and acrylic)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a professional beauty or nail salon
• Willing and able to work retail hours

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nail treatments, including manicures and pedicures, while ensuring excellent customer service
• Build and maintain a strong client base through exceptional service and customer engagement
• Promote and conduct monthly nail care promotions
• Meet monthly treatment and product sales targets
• Stay updated on new products and techniques through ongoing training
• Ensure new clients complete customer information cards
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date monthly reports
• Follow Dis-Chem’s service and payment procedures
• Manage stock levels and report any shortages, damages, or expired products
• Ensure effective merchandising and promotional displays

Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of nail technology, including correct product application and contraindications
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Team player with strong customer service skills
• Honest, reliable, and results-driven
• Ability to plan daily treatments and meet monthly targets

Advantageous:

• Bilingual

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transport or ability to travel within the PTA Region
• South African citizen
