Sanlam Vacancies –  MiBusiness Insurance Specialist

What Will You Do?

We are seeking full-time MiBusiness Insurance Specialists to join our growing team in the Eastern/Southern Cape. This face-to-face role involves working closely with clients to identify their insurance needs and provide tailored commercial insurance solutions.

As a MiBusiness Insurance Specialist, you will:

  • Build and grow a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
  • Provide outstanding service, ensuring a low lapse rate.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to maintain a healthy portfolio.
  • Meet sales and business strategy targets.

You will enjoy a competitive remuneration model, including attractive commissions and the tools needed for success.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: NQF4/Matric/Standard 10.
  • Qualifications: FAIS credits or Full Insurance Qualifications (depending on DOFA).
  • Examinations: Financial Services Board Regulatory Exams (RE5) completed.
  • Transport: Own reliable transport and a valid Code B driver’s license.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the commercial insurance industry.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in face-to-face client interactions and business development.

  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with your portfolio of clients.
  • Deliver excellent service to clients, ensuring retention and loyalty.
  • Screen new business opportunities to align with MiWay’s risk profile.

  • Problem Solving: Solution-oriented and adaptable to change.
  • Professionalism: Strong planning and time-management abilities.

  • Building partnerships and fostering client relationships.
