Minimum Requirements:
- Matric or equivalent qualification.
- Preferably NQF 3 Bakery qualification.
- 1+ year of experience as a Baker, Bakery Supervisor, or Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resource Management: Manage resources effectively to maximize turnover and minimize stock shortages.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks on all bakery products to maintain high standards.
- Production: Ensure that products are baked according to recipe specifications and meet quality standards.
- Opening Readiness: Prepare the bakery department to be fully ready for trade by store opening time.
- Sales Optimization: Identify fast-selling lines and seize opportunities to enhance sales and improve margins.
- Packaging: Ensure products are properly wrapped and packed to meet store standards.
- Customer Demand: Maintain sufficient stock levels to meet customer demand throughout the day.
