Flysafair careers – Maintenance Program Analyst

FlySafair, operating as Safair Operations, has a vacancy for a Maintenance Program Analyst at its Head Office. The successful candidate will report to the Manager: Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Review and update the Aircraft Maintenance Program (AMP) with the latest revisions from the OEM.

  • Liaise with the Regulatory and Planning Authority (RPA) for AMP submissions.

  • Update and amend new and revised task cards on the SAM system.

  • Remove obsolete task cards from SAM as required.

  • Review and update Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) documents on SAM.

  • Load and update Engineering Orders on SAM.

  • Maintain and update the monthly list of Corrective Action Disposition Reports (CADRs) for the RPA.

  • Review Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM) and update SAM when necessary.

  • Upload repair mapping with repeat inspection requirements on SAM.

  • Update aircraft Service Life (SL) status as tasks are completed.

  • Maintain and update delivery status reports for Airworthiness Limitations (AWL), Certification Maintenance Requirements (CMR), Airworthiness Directives (ADs), and Repair Mapping on SAM.

  • Upload Deferred Maintenance Items (DMIs) to SAM with compliance dates.

  • Upload Aircraft Conditioning Report items for each aircraft as received from Quality Control (QC).

  • Attend survey meetings and implement agreed-upon corrections or modifications.

  • Support Engineering by reviewing historical data as required.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.

  • Aircraft Qualification in Mechanical or Avionics.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the aviation industry, with component knowledge and experience on FlySafair-operated aircraft types.

  • Prior experience working in an Engineering environment.

  • Experience with Maintenance Programs (Essential).

  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, including EASA standards.

  • Knowledge of aircraft documentation, manufacturer-supplied data, and maintenance manuals.

  • Experience with SAM is an advantage.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
